    What's Been Up?

It's been a while since my last post.
Well, there are three teams now at SeaLifeHits
which means there are cash rewards for team surfing,
go give them a look if you haven't already!

A while ago I also posted about TEMessenger ,
the same owner has launched a traffic exchange as well.
You might be tired of new sites and I can relate,
but this one stands out to me
so it might be worth your time too.
    The main feature is TEMPoints,
you collect them by completing goals
such as surfing, promoting and referring,
and convert them into cash or credits.
Click the banner below to check it out.

    Thanks for reading,
    talk to you soon! 😊

    Team Surfing at SeaLifeHits

Did you know SeaLifeHits is a Premium Partner at the Food Game?
Did you know you can upgrade there with Food Game gold?
But most importantly, did you know there is Team Surfing?
Cash rewards will be implemented once there are 3 teams, in the meanwhile I will be giving credits and Food Game gold to the active members of my team, Fishing Buddies.
Click the banner above to sign up, or log in if you're already a member and check out Team Surfing!

TEM - The Traffic Exchange Messenger

Hello folks, I hope all is well!
Just a quick post to recommend you to sign up to TEM if you haven't already.
It's a platform where TE users and owners can talk to each other, share news and events, or ask questions.
I joined yesterday and really enjoyed it so far,
but I'd like to see more people in there.
You can access to the groups right away, in your browser.
No need to install anything! And it's free.
All you have to do is to create your account and you're good to go, no excuses!

    Hyperlink Fail

I could make this shorter but I'm a lady.
The stereotype of women talking a lot has some truth in it:
studies show women tend to use a greater number of words in a day compared to men, on average.
Yet that is linked to a higher degree of verbal intelligence, i.e. the ability to understand spoken and written language, on top of “verbal productivity”.
Men can tease us but the reason behind all this talking actually gives us an advantage in most academic pursuits!

    Anyway.

You know those links I put in my previous blog post? I forgot to add the “blank” command to open the pages in a new window. Now I've fixed it, I apologize if that caused any inconvenience. I wonder if that broke the surfing experience to some as I've been promoting my post in traffic exchanges.
This is not the first time I forget, I also had that happening in another website but luckily I tested right away and added the “blank” thing within seconds.

And that's it, just a friendly reminder to use the target=_”blank” when adding hyperlinks!

    Hello World and Special Orders

After years of wanting to start a blog, here I am!
I'm not going to explain why I've been procrastinating: your time is too precious to read a long list of excuses!
I've chosen the Food Game because I love it, pretty simple.

My first post will be about Special Orders, my favorite weekly competition.
What makes it so appealing to me?
Firstly, it motivates me to cook dishes: receiving some ingredients back after fulfilling an order feels so good!
Why bother cooking in the first place though?
The main reason is the Sous Chef: if you are not hiring one, you're missing out on good stuff such as credits which can't be earned through surfing but can only be won or bought.
Plus, each dish cooked earns you XP, boosting your chef level and helping you complete your badge collection.
At last, if you cook often, your name will also appear in Highest total points from cooking section of the leaderboard, meaning you can make it to the top 10 there too and win another juicy prize!

Beyond the rewards, Special Orders is a very easy task.
You don't need to surf for hours or hold a high chef level to compete.
As long as you have the recipes, the ingredients, and can check the page often to complete orders, you're good to go. Actually, you don't even need to check every 20 minutes as most orders last for longer, up to 2 hours.
In short, the main challenge lies in ingredient availability and your ability to check in, and that's it!

For these reasons, the Special Orders is my favorite.
What about you? Do you compete in any of the leaderboards?
Which one do you like the most?
